Helping save the big blue

ocean conservation + modern marketing.

SaltnStill is an ocean conservation-focused project that analyzes the marketing strategies of ocean-focused organizations. Identifying gaps in outreach and creating mock marketing campaigns and strategic content ideas to help them connect with more people.

The goal is to strengthen their impact, amplify their message, and make conservation efforts more effective and far-reaching. All while providing donations and educational resources.

Admirable Companies

There are many more incredible organizations out there, but these are a few companies that sparked my interest in combining marketing with conservation.

4ocean turns ocean cleanup into action by funding global plastic recovery through the sale of bracelets and sustainable products. Their work has directly removed over 30 million pounds of trash from the sea. Their mission inspired me to create SaltnStill, showing me how storytelling, design, and purpose can come together to help save the Big Blue. What stands out to me in their marketing is the direct and clear message that every product sold equals pounds of trash removed. It’s a simple yet powerful way to show impact and invite people into the mission.

Deep Blue is a brand that blends fashion with a mission, using premium sweatshirts and apparel to drive awareness about ocean conservation. Their marketing is crisp and impactful, featuring bold ocean imagery that instantly resonates with coastal and eco-conscious audiences. What I really appreciate is how seamlessly they connect style with environmental action—transforming a simple hoodie into a powerful conversation starter about the ocean’s future.

Sea Shepherd is a direct-action marine conservation group that defends ocean wildlife through bold, on-the-water operations. From stopping illegal fishing to protecting whales, they put action first to protect the ocean’s most vulnerable. What I appreciate about their marketing is the fierce, uncompromising messaging. Just direct action. This authenticity builds loyalty and sets them apart in the conservation space.

Exploring Marine Life at Playa del Capitolio - Puerto Rico

  • I’m a marketing professional who’s always been driven by a desire to create lasting impact, not just quick wins. I’ve felt a powerful connection to the ocean ever since I can remember, a deep pull that’s shaped how I see the world. My work reflects this, blending creativity and passion to build campaigns that go beyond temporary fixes and truly move the needle for ocean conservation and mission-driven work.

  • Quinlan School Of Business - Loyola Chicago

I graduated cum laude with a degree in marketing, where I consistently stood out for my ability to develop creative, data-driven campaigns that resonate. From class projects to extracurricular work, I gained a deep understanding of brand positioning and how to craft messages that drive real-world results. My coursework and focus on sustainability gave me a strong foundation in how marketing can amplify important causes like ocean conservation, something I’m deeply passionate about.

  • I’ve had the chance to build my skills across multiple internships, including roles as a marketing research specialist, digital marketing specialist, and director of social media. At Voodies, I served as the Director of Social Media, growing their Instagram from 200 followers to over 35,000 and their TikTok to 50,000. Now, with SaltNStill, I’m bringing that same marketing expertise to ocean conservation, helping brands strengthen their outreach and making conservation more accessible and engaging for everyone.
